Of course, you’ll also be buying it for its eye-catching design, but beyond that, a percentage of proceeds from these radios will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation. If you didn’t know, that’s a charity set up by Amy’s family in her memory, working to inspire children and young people to build their self-esteem and resilience.
So a good cause and an unashamedly retro radio for two reasons. It’s a classic Roberts, which is obvious. As is the second reason – the animal print design covering the extra of the radio, which is very ‘Amy’. Put the two together, and this is a great thing for any retro home.
I think I had the Revival heading up my 10 of the best retro kitchen radios. It really is a timeless design. But when it comes to technology, time sadly does move on. Luckily for us, so does the Roberts Revival.
