Fancy something old school to keep out the rain? Check out the newly-reissued Adidas Originals Classic Windbreaker.
That’s right. This isn’t a 1980s find for a hefty fee in your local vintage store. Adidas has decided to bring back a classic look from a bygone era to keep you dry when a sudden shower hits. And to keep you looking good even when it isn’t raining.
Made of taffeta fabric, it has everything you need and nothing you don’t. White details contrast the navy blue body of the coat, with four pockets to keep your essentials close by (two angled lower pockets and two chest pockets), with the three stripes on the arm, the logo on the chest and the hood for when the rain does come down.
It’s a jacket made for practicality. But the strong retro look is likely the reason this will fly off the shelves.
Sizes are small through to XXL, and at £85, it compares well to plenty of other rain jackets out there. Ideal for now, but it is something that will come into its own when spring arrives.
