It reminds us very much of the iconic Vico Magistretti Eclisse table lamp, which is still available as a reissue. But this is actually a new design, the Clint Mini Task Lamp from West Elm.
It has a similar 1960s-inspired look though and similar functionality, being just the job for a bedside light or indeed as a desk lamp thanks to the swivelling head which assists in directing light just where you need it.
As you can see, the lamp is available in two finishes, either a red finish for the powder-coated metal shade and base (with bronze detailing) or with a white / grey marble base, antique bronze finish shade and antique brass detailing.
Both are new arrivals and both retail for £79.
