Driade Clover Chair

Cloverchair

Gleaming white outdoor furniture is not hard to come by, but the Clover Chair is more distinctive than most.

Designed by Ron Arad for Driade quite recently (2007 in fact), the white version creates that desirable space-age look. It is also available in orange or green which serves to highlight its flower power vibe.

The Clover Chair is made from polypropylene making it suitable for use outdoors as well as in. It costs £381 from Panik Design.

Made in England Mugs

Britannia-group

The “Made in England” slogan is starting to appear on more and more products with this series of mugs being the latest I’ve come across.

They have been handmade in Stoke-on-Trent from white bone china. There is a choice of three designs available; one simply featuring the words “Made in England”, one with a back stamp logo and the third featuring a map of Britain with a heart over Staffordshire, where the mugs were created and home of England’s pottery homeland.

They cost £11.95 each and are available to buy online from Colloco.

Oeuf Mini Library

OE-LIB_Alt1

New York based designed Oeuf Crib specialize in beautiful children’s furniture that proves kid’s stuff doesn’t have to be made from brightly coloured plastic.

A good example of this is the Oeuf Mini Library which has enough retro modern style to make it a welcome addition to any home and something you’ll want to keep as your children grow up. It is features white cupboard doors with contrasting shelving in birch or walnut stain.

Sadly I’ve been unable to find any UK stockists, but the Oeuf Mini Library is available in the USA from a number of placesincluding Modern Nursery priced $620 for the birch or $650 for the walnut finish.
