Steepletone Dixie Radio

If you are content with just FM and MW radio stations, then the Dixie Retro Radio looks good for very little money.

It is made by Steepletone who do quite a lot of these retro designs, this one being based on a 1960s style. It is black with silver trims, features a large white LED analogue display and a large rotary On / Off volume control knob. There is also a pink version available but that looks far too much like a Barbie accessory.

Camper Van Doormat

Another product featuring the counter-culture vehicle of choice. The Camper Van Doormat is a colourful welcome mat featuring a cartoon of the VW camper van.

To add to the hippie vibe, the van has a “Love” license plate, a red heart on the front and is surrounded by flowers. It woudl almost be a shame to wipe your muddy feet on it.

It costs £15.50 from the appropriately named Karma Babes website.

“Teme e Variazioni” Wallpaper

You may remember the Piero Fornasetti 'Tema e Variazioni' design from a collection of plates we mentioned a while back. Now the distinctive design has turned up as a series of wallpapers.

Available from Interiors Europe, there are three variations (for want of a better word) of the design available. The one pictured here is the simplest, dominated by the woman’s face. The others are rather more surreal; the woman’s face appearing on a street and the woman’s neck adorned with a necklace made up of small versions of the face.

An iconic design though it is, the obvious question is whether you could live with it on a daily basis? If you can, then it will set you back £65 per roll from Interiors Europe.

Exposure T-Shirts for Topshop

The label Exposure has produced a small collection of t-shirts exclusively for Topshop that all feature retro black & white photograph prints on the front.

There are five designs in all to choose from, each featuring an image from the past. Pictured here is the Bathing Belles design, others include a Showgirl design and “Car Boot” which features a photograph of two young men reclining in the boot of a vintage motor. The t-shirts cost £20 each and are available in sizes extra small to large.

3D VW Camper Van Coffee Mugs

There are other mugs on the market featuring the VW vehicles, but others don’t jump out at you in quite the same way as the VW Camper Van Mugs by Blue Witch. Part of the design is in 3D with the van coming off the mug.

The camper van design is available in a choice of yellow, red or blue, all handmade and dishwasher safe. There are also other classic vehicle designs available including a red mini, VW beetle in red, blue or black and a vespa scooter.

All the mugs cost £16 from Blue Witch
