Smeg and Marc Newson team up to create colourful retro cookers

Smeg_cooker

Sometimes a picture says it all – which is just as well with Smeg’s Marc Newson-designed cookers, as there’s very little information floating about.

It’s the next stage in Smeg’s attempt to take over your kitchen, offering its retro-styled designs  for integrated cooking in a selection of bold/retro colours, throwing in what looks like touch screen controls too.

The prototypes were recently shown off at the Milan Furniture Fair, so they could be in the shops by the end of 2008. Watch this space for further details.
