Lego block iPod speaker

Lego_ipod_dock

Regular readers will know of our fascination with all things Lego, but we think this Lego block iPod speaker is pretty much the best use so far.

Just plug the block into the bottom of your iPod and you can wave goodbye to those earphones – our music is played through the block. And the speakers are powered via our player, so no need for extra batteries.

A range of colours available – but only in Korea so far. However, you can order online for UK delivery from 10×10, with the speaker priced at the equivalent of £8.

DFS introduces Nimbo – budget take on Ligne Roset’s classic Togo seating

Dfs_nimbo

Imitation is said to be the sincerest form of flattery. So Ligne Roset should be very flattered by the new Nimbo seating from DFS.

That’s because it’s a very close copy of the company’s classic Togo design by Michel Ducaroy. Ligne Roset introduced Togo in 1973 – the first all-foam sofa – and it’s still a best seller, as well as a contemporary item, thanks to the ever-changing range of covering materials.

Gibson limited edition Jimmy Page 1275 double neck electric guitar

Page_guitar

Led Zeppelin are (or is) all over the press right now with their much-anticipated reunion – reason enough for us to feature this limited edition Gibson Jimmy Page 1275 double neck electric guitar – the iconic merging of a 6 and 12-string instrument.

This is an exact copy of the Jimmy Page Signature Double Neck, present to the Led Zep guitarist back in 1971 by Gibson. Just 250 have been made in a ‘weathered’ dark cherry colour, with ‘period-correct’ mahogany necks, rosewood fingerboards, 5-ply pickguard, four Page pickups, and two volume and tone control knobs.

The instrument comes with a custom case, certificate of authenticity and a pretty hefty price tag – $7,999.95
