Fred Perry limited edition 100 Year Polo Shirt

Fred100_1

2009 marks 100 years since the birth of Frederick John Perry, better known as Fred Perry, tennis legend and man behind the classic British clothing company. To celebrate this fact, Fred Perry is releasing a very special item – the Fred Perry 100 Year Polo Shirt.

Available in very limited numbers, the polo shirt will feature an enlarged 16-leaf laurel with the centenary embroidery underneath and be sold in three classic colourways – white with leaf tipping, black with champagne tipping and the 1964 sky with navy tipping.

No news on a price, but you’ll find out soon enough – the 100 Year Polo Shirt will be available online and in Fred Perry stores from May 18th, the very day of Fred Perry’s 100th birthday. See over the page for images of the other two colourways.

Nike 1970s Killshot trainers reissued

Killshot

Originally a court shoe from the late 70s, the Nike Killshot trainers have been reissued as the Nike Killshot Vintage.

It's name comes from the racquet sports it was designed for back in 1979, but is perhaps better known these days as a lightweight leisure shoe. The latest reissue has had the 'Vintage' treatment, which means distressed effect materials and yellowed soles alongside that canvas and mesh upper and grey, cream and red colour scheme.

Limited numbers, they're available now for pre-order for £65.
