Liberty linen bag by Sarey Poppins

Poppins

Still on the look out for a weekday bag or shopper with a bit of style? You might want to check out the Etsy site of Sarey Poppins, which includes these rather cool Liberty linen bag.

Glasgow-based Sarey is member of the city's Craft Mafia as well as a member of Belle and Sebastian – busy girl! But she's obviously put some time and thought into these bags, oozing retro charm with that liberty print, which is also on the inside in a contrast colour.

The bag is around 29cm tall, made of 100 per cent cotton and features a 'Sarey Poppins' label in the lining. You can 'bag' one for $45 on Etsy – and while you're there, check out the other designs currently for sale too, all in a similar style.

Supporto 1970s office chair

Supporto

Not the most exciting thing you'll ever buy, but if you're after an office chair with pedigree and functionality, you might want to check out the Supporto office chair.

Designed back in 1979 by Fred Scott, the Supporto was one of the first office chairs built to strict ergonomic principles and still complies with all current standards. And of course, you can drop it to the correct height and wheel around your office (or indeed, your home office).

In terms of looks, well, it's certainly distinctive with those upright arms and a choice of upholstery, including both fabric and a premium leather. If you want one, prices start around the £800 mark.

iBlock Lego-shaped MP3 player

Iblock

Well, just a day after we featured the Block iPod speaker dock, we got informed of another Lego-inspired audio product – the iBlock.

Yes, this is an MP3 player shaped like a Lego brick, with the studs on top each having a musical function (play, pause, advance, volume etc). All you have to do is hook it up to your PC for your tunes (via USB cable provided) and you're away.

Actually, not quite. There's no storage inside the iBlock, so you'll also need to stick in a microSD card (you'll probably have one in your mobile phone). Available in black or white, they retail for £29.99.

Puzzle Clock – jigsaw tells the time

Puzzleclock

I'm guessing you've never made a jigsaw since your schooldays. Well, if you want to re-live that particular 'thrill', you can with the newly-launched Puzzle Clock.

Not that it's the most complex jigsaw you'll ever make – all you have to do is put together the 17 pieces (which are all sized the same) to create your wall clock. At least you get a choice of which colours go where.

The central piece houses the hands and also has room for the 1x AA battery for power. Yours for £45.

Lego-like Block Speaker Dock for iPod

Block

Looking for something quirky and childlike for playing your iPod (i)Tunes? Look no further than the Block Speaker Dock.

Not official Lego gear, but you can see what the makers were aiming at (and where they were influenced from) when they made the Block. Just slot your iPod into the top and the bass-heavy Block will pump out your favourite tunes, with volume and power controls cunningly built into the design. And if you have it in the mains (as opposed to battery power), you can even charge your player too.

Take your pick from black or white, both retailing for £39.99.
