Fan of vintage bags are having a good week. As well as the
book that was highlighted yesterday, this set of handbag card holders is sure

bag. They are surprisingly substantial things, each one measuring approximately

They would make good holders for place names at a

Tunnocks

It's a longstanding icon of the British biscuit world (since the 1950s in largely unchanged form) and now you can have the classic Tunnock's Tea Cake on a tote bag.

Designed by Gillian Kyle, it features an illustration of the yummy marshmallow and chocolate biscuit on the front in red, printed onto a natural unbleached cotton shopper. It's eco-friendly, it's got a classic design on the front, what's not to like?

We love Orla Kiely's fantastic prints and bags here, but for many of us they're not within our budgets. Much to our surprise and delight, this Tribal Bag from New Look has a definite air of her influence for a fraction of the price.

The retro style 'tribal' print looks perfect in these seventies shades, and is set off with a simple wooden handle design. As always, scaling down in price means doing the same in quality, but for a good looking bag with some seventies chic this is a great little bargain.

It's a 100 per cent cotton canvas tote with cute record player print inspired by Fisher Price portable turntables of the 1970s, sized around 15 inches by 14.5 inches.
