Comback Chair by Patricia Urquiola for Kartell

UT30030
Going further back than is usual for our design influences, the Comback Chair by Patricia Urquiola for Kartell looks back to the classic 18th Century Windsor chair design.

The backrest of the chair is made up of seven teeth, which are spaced out to be ergonomically correct. Deviating from the classic form, the chair is made from plastic, in a range of colours, including the interesting options of orange and mustard.

The chair is not in production yet, so no price details are available at the moment (I doubt it will be cheap ), but you can register your interest now with Utility Design so that you don’t miss out when it is available.

Jam-jars-wallpaper-4467-p
Here's some paper bound to introduce some sixties fun into your home, Jam Jars wallpaper from Beware the Moon.

The surface of the paper reflects lights, walls and other features of the room to produce a striking look that's luckily more space age/less the tin foil episode of Spaced!

A roll measures 56cm x 10m and costs £76.50.

Miss Nouveau headboard by Myrica Bergqvist

Nouveau

Fancy turning your average high street bed into a period gem? You can with the Miss Nouveau headboard by Myrica Bergqvist.

The clue is in the title, with this particular headboard inspired by the Art Nouveau era of the late 19th / early 20th century. It doesn't actually attach to your bed – the acrylic headboard fixes to the wall, but is around a centimetre thick to give a 'three dimensional impression'.

The one downside is the price, with the Miss Nouveau headboard costing around the same as some beds at £503.81.

History map detail

Add to this effect a choice of suitably aged colours: it's available in either grey, parchment or pink.

The wallpaper is sold by the metre. Contact her through the website for more information on pricing.

Eiffel Tower Table Lamp With black shade

Eiffel

No prizes for guessing where the Eiffel Tower Table Lamp With black shade got its inspiration from.

Yes, it's a mini replica of the iconic 1889 structure, the work of Gustave Eiffel and still the most obvious symbol of Paris to this present day. This mini version is a rather stylish metallic tribute, standing around 56cm tall and finished off with a plain black shade.

Graham and Green is doing pre-orders for it now, priced at £95.
