Ella Doran Joanie Teaware for Habitat

900643
Ella Doran is becoming a regular feature of the UK high street thanks to her collaborations with various retailers, the latest of which is Habitat.

The Joanie range is inspired by Ella's personal collection of vintage tea plates, with family heirlooms and charity shop finds updated and re-imagined to create a distinctive pattern with a contemporary flavour.

The range incorporates everything you need to hold a stylish tea party; bone-china tea-cups and dessert plates, napkins and a table runner – a great reason to get an apron on and get baking.

You can see the full range and buy here.

This little Owl Moneybox was originally given away to customers of the Union Bank in the 1970s to encourage saving. It is back in production and now it is available to buy without having to open a new bank account.

The moneybox is made from brightly coloured plastic, in either yellow, red or green. He stands at 10cm high and once you’ve filled him up, he can be emptied at the bottom, opening with a little key.

The moneybox costs £8.95 from Hus and Hem.

The Beatles Colour Chairs

Eiffelbeatlescolour
As well as reproductions of iconic designs, Base Classics offers a custom pop art range, which includes The Beatles Colour Chairs.

The shape of the chair is inspired by Eames’ Eiffel Chair, but rather than having a stark white seat, the face of a Beatle is imprinted against an acid bright background. There is the option to have the design printed on the back of the chair only (£250 per chair) or on both the back and front (£325 per chair). The price per chair is reduced if you buy two or more to £175 and £250 – and with this particular design, it would make sense to buy four.

Record Print Armchair

14c2cd197dc73ab2dee8d30ed1f360e106bab01a
You may have hundreds of records you treasure, but do you love vinyl enough to give this Record Print Armchair pride of place in our lounge?

The eye-catching fabric has been designed by 009 Textiles, a West London based fabric design company. The print consists of various vinyl singles against a white background, with the labels of each record adding splashes of colour to the design. The photographs of this item don’t show the fabric in enough detail to see what the individual labels are so that we can check the credibility of music selection, which could be a big factor in whether you’d want to buy this.

The chair is available to buy from the My Deco Boutique for £2,382.

Linea lidded ceramic pot

Linea pot
Although it's a contemporary design, Linea's lidded ceramic pot has something of the look of studio pottery of the 60s and 70s.

Sadly, I don't think it is hand-made but the stoneware pot does have a rather attractive raised diamond design. Add to that its purple glaze and you've got a piece that looks more unusual than its high street origin may suggest.

A high street price attached to it too: the pot costs £30.
