We've included quite a few pieces already from the John Lewis Revival range. To add to the mugs, furniture and vases, you can now purchase this Revival tablecloth. 

Like the Pots and Pans mug, the tablecloth features an illustration of vintage style crockery which has, in this case, been supplemented by images of kitchen implements, vintage-looking storage jars and Catherine Holm-style saucepans. The pattern is illustrated in a manner to reflect the '50s and '60s tableware pictured. 

Made from a cotton and polyester mix, the tablecloth is available in a range of sizes. You can supplement the look with placemats and coasters featuring the same design. 

Prices for the tablecloth range from between £19 to £21 dependent on size.

COAL Design Horrice Chair

The Horrice Chair was created by COAL Design in association with the Hidden Art Shop for this year’s 100% Design event. So in that respect, it is very much a new design, but its shape is very much in the mid-century style.

Its frame is made from interlocking sections of Walnut veneered MDF, whilst the seat is upholstered in wool in a choice of colours, including the unusual lemon yellow option pictured here. The back cushion has four buttons in a contrasting colour, a sweet little finishing touch. The chair is made in Sheffield with all of the materials sourced within Yorkshire.

The Horrice chair costs £599 and can be ordered through the Hidden Art Shop website.

Vintage Patterned Trophy Roe Head

As an animal lover, wall-mounted deer heads normally make me feel uneasy, but this Trophy Roe Head looks as unlike the real thing so passes my sensitivity test.

It is made from MDF, with each piece decorated in a pattern inspired by vintage Italian textiles. This one uses shades of orange, brown, blue and yellow, which give it a 1970s look, whilst the other option has more floral patterns in shades of purple, giving it a more shabby chic feel. The trophy roe heads cost £27.50. There is also a trophy deer head – the differences being the size of its antlers and the slightly higher price of £32. They supplied flat-packed, but self-assembly should still be easy than going out hunting for a traditional trophy.

Müller Mobile Line Trolley

Müller’s design philosophy is to combine retro style with modern simplicity, and if the Mobile Line Trolley is anything to go by, we like the results.

This isn’t a hostess style trolley, but rather a storage solution on castors, which can be moved around your home as needed. With an overwhelming choice of over 200 colours, you can choose to play up the retro or the modern look of the piece. Most colour options cost £549, but if you want one of the pearl shade, it will cost an extra £51.

Gold ceramic pineapple from Dwell

PineappleDwell is well known for its high street take on designer looks. This season it adds a bit of festive sparkle into its collection of accessories which includes this gold ceramic pineapple. 

As you know, any well-stocked retro bar comes complete with a pineapple ice bucket. This ornament takes inspiration from that look. Admittedly less useful than an ice bucket, the ornament wins full points for kitsch glamour.

Paperchase vintage rose collection

Cake stand
Paperchase's take on old-fashioned tea wares, the vintage rose collection, is now available online.

The range draws its inspiration from vintage floral illustrations and utilises the traditional rose motif on a range of notebooks, picture frames and kitchenwares, including the fine china cake stand pictured. The look is given a contemporary twist by illustrating the flowers in unnaturally bright blues, pinks and greens, against black.

Prices start at £2.50 for gift boxes and go up to £25 for the cake stand.
