Adidas Chile ’62 trainers get reissue

Chile1

Another old school classic comes kicking and screaming out of the archives, this time the Adidas Chile '62 trainers.

As the name suggests, the shoes were introduced to coincide with the World Cup in Chile in 1962, designed as a football shoe for frozen pitches. The latest reissue has a 'tough worn leather' uppers, smooth leather lining, gold branding and a rubber outsole with 'stud' pattern. Quite possibly useful in the winter snow as a bonus.

Available now, it sells for £69.99. See the shoe from another angle over the page.

Adidas 1980s Pro Conference trainers reissued

Adi_pro

Not an obvious reissue, but the Adidas Pro Conference trainers are certainly distinctive.

Originally produced by the German sportswear giant back in the late 80s (if the look hadn't given that away), the Pro Conference is a basketball-style shoe with a leather finish, mesh detailing and signature perforation on the toe.

This reissue is available in a black or white colour scheme, priced at £47.

PS wool blend pea coat by Paul Smith

Smith_wool

You can pick up a pea coat from a vareity of high street sellers, some better than others it has to be said. But if you want something slightly more high end, check out the Paul Smith PS wool blend pea coat.

As you'd expect, this is a double breasted coat, but this one is made of a check wool blend, complete with two flap covered pockets, buttoned back belt and a lapel that can be worn open or shut, effectively creating two coat styles out of one.

Not cheap at £405, but if you like the look of it, there's always the post-Christmas sales.

Adidas x Crooked Tongues London trainers

Adidas_london

In the middle of 2008, Adidas reissued a batch of trainers from its 1970s City range, including a remake of the Adidas London – a nice shoe, but not exactly friendly with the elements. That's not the case with the latest reissue – the Adidas x Crooked Tongues London trainers.

Produced as part of the Adidas Consortium range, the shoe has been 'tweaked' by Soho retailer Crooked Tongues, with the new version now offering a swap of colouring (red on black rather than black on red) and a construction designed for wet weather use (after all, this is a London shoe). You'll also notice the British pint symbol on the dimpled tongue, along with a tartan lining, just like a raincoat.

These are going to be very limited, so you'll need to pre-order. No news on price, but those pre-orders start this Saturday, 12th December, at the End Clothing online store (and other places). More views over the page.

Adidas Beckenbauer 1980s trainers reissued

Beck

A good all-round trainer that was first seen in the early 80s is back in the late noughties – the Adidas Beckenbauer 1980s trainers.

Introduced in 1982 and named after the West German football legend, the shoes were produced initially as an all-purpose football shoe, but like most of the Adidas range, soon took on its own life on the streets of towns and cities.

You can pick up a dull black version, but the white, red and blue version (above) is the real star, matched up with a 'high impact' training outsole and perforation for that leather upper. Pre-order now for January delivery, price is £55.
