Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair in London

If the weather's not great this weekend (specifically on Sunday 10th May), you might want to make your way down to the Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair for the pick of some high-end vintage clothing.

35 dealers from the UK and Europe will be selling their wares, both menswear and womenswear and all at the quality end of the market. if that's not enough, there's also a house tailor on hand to alter your purchases, as well as a cafe with a 'vintage twist'.

You'll find the fair at The Old Sessions House, Clerkenwell Green, London, EC1, running from 11am to 5pm. £3 gets you through the door.

PF Flyers 1940s Sumfun tennis shoes reissued

The craze for pumps shows no sign of going away, which means the makers are digging deeper into the archives to find new styles – the latest being the PF Flyers Sumfun tennis shoes.

These date back to 1947, offering up a lightweight canvas shoe with authentic Posture Foundation insole, 'foxing' detailing and a couple of hardly noticeable concessions to the modern era.

Vintage Market at TV21 CafeBar – Manchester

For residents of the North West of England there's a new date or two for your calendar courtesy of a new Vintage Market at TV21 Cafebar. This event consists of something more than your average vintage jumble sale, with some new fashion with independent credentials.

Providing a trading space for both up and coming and established designers, this market aims to combine an eclectic mix of brand new items alongside original fashion, art and collectibles. With one date already under their belts, the Vintage Market folks are building on their success, with the next Sunday installment taking place on the 3rd of May.
