Can’t say 1978 rings any bells as a year of significance in fashion, but that’s the year Levi’s has chosen for its Levi Vintage 1978 Dry Pack.
For your money, you get a pair of 5-pocket 501s in dark indigo (presumably without the enormous flares that were just about hanging on in that year), an authentic 70s-style sports t-shirt (in white) and a vintage-style laundry bag to store it all in, should you need to get it washed.

That staple of many childhood wardrobes is back on the market in 2008 – the Adidas 1980s-style three stripe t-shirt.

Topman isn’t usually the first place to look for iconic design, but that’s where you’ll find it from this week, courtesy of The Look Presents Nigel Waymouth.
For the uninitiated, Nigel Waymouth was a giant of 1960s fashion and design, responsible for the (in)famous Kings Road boutique Granny Takes A Trip (a favourite haunt for the likes of the Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Anita Pallenberg, Brigitte Bardot and Marianne Faithfull) and the Hapshash graphic design company, producing posters and record sleeves for the The Who and Jimi Hendrix.
Is it a bowling shoe or is it a trainer? Well, the YMC Bowling Trainer can make a case for being both.
Taking its inspiration from the classic bowling shoe design, it offers a lightweight pump-style construction with grey outer, contrast red tongue, laces and interior and a white with red trim sole, along with YMC logo on the heel.
