Retro Olympic t-shirts by Eight

Olympic_retro

Sporting events of decades past remain as icons in history, be it the first world cup you remember or Olympic games as iconic as Mexico 1968. For retro design lovers, the logos of past Olympic games are a treasure trove, providing a snapshot of the achingly modern design of the times.

Design brand Eight have hit on a winner, then, with these simple but great looking Olympic t-shirts. On a simple fitted tee, the logos of a wide variety of Olympic games including this pair, still look eye-catching and very much of their time.

Levi’s Vintage 1930s Button Neck Sweater

Levi_knit
It might be warm now, but winter will soon be here – and that means knitwear. Which is where this Levi’s Vintage 1930s Button Neck Sweater comes in.

Amazingly, this was classed as ‘sportswear’ back in the day – and this repro cardigan still has the ‘Levi Strauss Sportswear’ label to prove it. Thee days, it’s just a big chunky sweater in a light grey fisherman’s hook knit and made of 100 per cent wool, finished off with five large buttons and pockets.

New in at Oki-Ni, you can pick it up for £129.
