Adidas Superstar Force – Star Wars-inspired trainers

Starwars_trainers

If you are into your Star Wars and indeed into your trainers, you might want to seek out a pair of the Adidas Superstar Force trainers.

They’re available for a limited time from September and available in two looks – the black, which are Darth Vader-influenced and the lighter shade, which is inspired by Yoda. And check out the logos on the shoes – which use the Star Wars font.

In the US, they will retail for $150, which is around £75. I’ve not yet found a UK retailer.

eBay Watch: Adidas/Y-3 FAC 51 Hacienda trainers

Hacienda_trainers2

Remember the Adidas/Y-3 FAC 51 Hacienda trainers we featured a month or so back? We wondered if anyone would be willing to pay the £345 price tag, even if there are only 250 pairs worldwide. Well they would.

All the trainers were quickly snapped up – and that’s led to brisk business on eBay. This pair has already beaten the £345 price point and have a ‘Buy It Now’ of a whopping £1,000. Yes, for a pair of trainers.

There are around four pairs up for grabs in total, so if you missed out at Selfridges and have the cash, you know where to go.

Nike Original Windrunner reissued

Nike_windrunner
Another piece of vintage sportswear reissued – the Nike Original Windrunner.

This is a reissue of the first-ever Nike ‘Windrunner’, with the original colour scheme of navy and red and with both the Nike logo and Pinwheel logo on the chest.

Personally, we’re waiting for the reissue of the Patrick cagoule, but until then, this could fill the gap at £65.

Lambretta’s Who clothing range – pictures

Whocloth1

We mentioned a few weeks back that Lambretta Clothing was issuing an officially-sanctioned range of Who Clothing. Well, that clothing hits the shops in September – and we have images of some of the replica pieces.

There were initially two ranges – Tribute and Iconic – but these have now been merged. But you might have to check out some higher-end stores for the replica clobber, such as the blazer and shirts.

And we haven’t prices as yet. But for now, check out some of the items above and over the turn.

Baracuta polo shirts

Baracuta_polos

The name Baracuta is pretty much the first name to think of when it comes to the classic Harrington jacket, but it seems have started a spot of diversification, introducing new lines like Baracuta polo shirts.

And they’re pretty much what you expect, a three-button polo with contrasting collar trim and made from 100 per cent cotton. And there’s the Baracuta logo on the chest.

I have to be honest and say they look a little bland to me, but they’re sure to be decent quality and retail for a reasonable £40, which is in line with the average Fred Perry.
