Lyle & Scott Plackett polo shirts

Lyle_plackett

Lyle & Scott is still pumping out its old designs as part of the Vintage range – and they’re still selling in large amounts. The latest to hit the shelves are these Lyle & Scott Plackett polo shirts.

It’s a strange design – not quite a shirt, not quite a polo – almost like a halfway house of the two with six-butto plackett, two front pockets, shot sleeves and the vintage gold eagle logo on the chest.

Available in a variety of colour schemes, they sell for £45.

Super Sunglasses – hip retro eyewear

Super_retro

Just about the most hip eyewear of the moment are Super Sunglasses, created by Pig Magazine’s Sean Beolchini – if you can find a pair.

They’re selling out almost as fast as they’re made, despite looking not all that different to Wayfarers. The secret is the colour range – with allsorts of unusual combinations, including some nice two tone schemes and a transparent pair.

Just about the only place you can get them online right now is Caliroots, where a pair of the sought-after unisex specs will set you back around £65.

Topman does the Trench Coat

Trench_coat
In just about every classic movie from the 50s to the 70s, there was always someone dashing about in a raincoat. Despite the weather, they’re not all that common now – although Topman has just started doing a Trench Coat.

It’s very much the classic Trench, made of 100 per cent cotton, double breasted buttons, epaulettes, cuff buckles and a belt waist.

Available now, you can pick it up for £70.

Nom De Guerre Reefer Jacket

Non_reefer
It’s not winter yet – but give it a few weeks and the weather will certainly take a turn for the worse. And you’ll need to be kitted out in something cool, like this Nom De Guerre Reefer Jacket.

This coat from the New York-based collective is every inch the future classic, a nice twist on the classic pea coat in black, fitted and predominantly made of wool. It also features a Cupra lining, one internal and two external handwarmer pockets and an adjustable cuff.

Not cheap – £375 at selected UK retailers.

Space Invaders hoodies

If you’re going to wear a hoodie, you might as well wear an interesting one – like one of these Space Invaders hoodies.

These unisex items are available in two styles – with large or small aliens and in colour choices for the latter. And they’re in short supply – only available via The Cool Hunter in Australia and in limited numbers per size.

If you want one, they’ll set you back $140 (Australian) plus postage to our country – unless that’s Australia, where it is free.
