Green Table 55 at the Conran Shop

Green

At first glance, it has the look of a midcentury piece, but this Green Table 55 at the Conran Shop has a much longer heritage.

It's actually a cafe table, which is made in the original Tolix factory founded by Xavier Pauchard in 1905. So 20th century, but a much earlier reference point that you might initially think. The table is made from recyclable polyester powder coated steel and is good for using both outside or inside as a kitchen table or desk.

Just make sure you keep that paintwork looked after – otherwise it might rust a little bit. Available online, the Green Table 55 sells for £495.

Marianne Westman 50s Mon Amie design

MonAmieCupsPlates
You may recognise Marianne Westman's Mon Amie design, created for Rörstrand in the 1950s. The blue and white design pattern has been a much loved Swedish design ever since. The company has now introduced it onto new, twenty-first century tableware, including this mug and plate set.

The handle-less mug and the plate are perfect for using for a stylish snack. Both items are made from dishwasher proof porcelain.

The set costs $54.

Traditional tattoo kitchen roll

Traditional-tattoo-kitchen-roll-3255-p

When it comes to your kitchen roll, do you find the plain white or perhaps the floral designs just don't do it for you? Maybe you should try this traditional tattoo kitchen roll instead.

Its length of 20 metres is covered with traditional tattoo designs, from bleeding hearts to sailors and roses and is probably far too good looking to soak up any cookery spills. If you're really keen on the look, you could always pair it up with this dish cloth for a tattoo-tastic kitchen.

It's not only prettier but also is pricier than your average kitchen roll at £5.50.
