What do you get if you cross a classic 60s plastic stool and a modern-day must-have gadget? You get the Branex iTam Tam, which is back for this season oin several glossy shades.

We first featured it in early 2008, when it was available only with a monochrome finish, but now this hi-tech version of Henry Massonet's classic 1968 stool is available in seven colourful shades, perfect for matching up with your interior decor.

If you missed it first time around, the iTam Tam is still a small plastic stool, but now sports 70w (2x 35w) of stereo audio, a docking station for all iPods and iPhones, a jack for other types of audio and remote control to skip through your music. One of the quirkiest and coolest audio units out there, you can pick one up for £343.

While Bombay Duck are calling these vintage tea party milk jugs, they are contemporary designs, the 'vintage' referring to their inspiration only. Their delicate shape and pretty rose bordered rim certainly create an old-fashioned feel. The jugs come in cream, blue and pink and would look perfect sitting next to a similarly pastel coloured selection of cupcakes.

Legnoart seem to have cornered the market for stylish retro kitchen trolleys with the James Oval Serving Trolley being another example of their great designs.

Designed by Bjorn Blisse, the trolley is made from formed wood with a tempered glass upper shelf. There are three versions available, all of which have a retro look. Pictured here is the model in zebra wood with a white inner. The other choices are wenghe wood with a cream interior or light birth with a red interior.

The trolleys are made in Italy to order. You can order from County Trolleys for £475.

Innermost “Linea” Shade

The Linea shade is produced by Innermost, possibly one of the most exciting companies working in lighting design today.

This particular shade was designed by Finnish designer Anne Kyyrö Quinn and would look great in a retro influenced living room. What distinguishes this design from the plethora of other white shades on the market is that it is made from 100% wool felt.

The Linea shade costs £60 from Mode Twenty One, who also sell a selection of bases that can be used with the shade.

Recently, Lomo discounted its classic LC-A camera (the one that started the whole Lomo thing off) for a day to celebrate 25 years since if first left the Russian factory. Now the company has gone one step further with a very special version in limited numbers, the Lomo LC-A+ Anniversary Edition camera.

Sure to be sought after by Lomo collectors, this is a slight update to the original 1984 camera, packing an original Russian Minitar 1 lens for vivid, wide angle images and auto exposure for great snaps in all light. But as this is a limited edition, you also get a new textured skin, an anniversary badge on the body and a cool, commemorative wooden box, stamped with the 25th Anniversary logo.
