1960s-style Glove armchair by Conran

Glovechair

A modern design, but there's a definite 60s space age look to this Glove armchair, the work of Content by Conran.

It's very much the 'Bond Villain' armchair, with a white moulded fibreglass shell, soft leather upholstered seating and a spun steel base with swivel and tilt mechanism.

If you fancy it, you're in luck as the Glove armchair is currently in the Conran sale. Saying that, it's still fairly high priced at £1,756.

Fred Perry autumn/winter range at Oki-Ni

Perry_autumn1

The sale has only been underway a matter of weeks, but over at Oki-Ni, the new Fred Perry autumn/winter stock is now online for pre-order, although you aren't likely to see most of it until September.

As you might expect, there's a mix of shirts, polo shirts, jackets, scarves and knitwear, with some hats and a rather smart vintage-style leather holdall (pictured over the page) thrown in for good measure too. The polo shirts above are also new to the range – described as Twisted Texture Knitted Sports Shirts, they're the classic 60s-style knitted polos with ribbed hem, embroidered logo and contrast detailing.

Really smart, but at £125, not exactly for everyone's budget. Check out all the new items below, along with the sale items from the current range.

Malcolm

We featured Emory Douglas some months back, around the time of the Emory Douglas and The Art of Revolution exhibition at Manchester's Urbis. Well, the Black Panther's former Minister of Culture is now showing off his work at the New Museum in New York under the title Emory Douglas: Black Panther and to coincide, Station 4 has released this very limited edition Malcolm X screenprint.

It's a powerful piece of 60s-style pop art featuring the human rights activist, printed by Political Gridlock at Firehouse Kustom Rockart Co. in a limited edition of just 13, all six colour screenprints sized at 18 x 18 inches, signed and numbered by the artist.

It goes on sale today, priced at $300.
