Mr T hand doodled mugs by Tee and Toast

Mr_t

Loving these Mr T hand doodled mugs by Tee and Toast.

Totally unofficial, but all the better for it, the mugs are all one-of-a-kind (individually drawn especially for you) and feature the Mr T cartoon and a choice of 'I pity the fool that don’t drink tea' or 'make me some damn tea fool!' for the phrase.

No matter which you go for, the price is the same – £9.74.

Adidas Campus Mark Gonzales edition

Campus

You can pick up a pair of Adidas Campus just about anywhere – but you'll have to look hard to find the Adidas Campus Mark Gonzales edition.

This limited version of the early 80s classic shifts the emphasis away from basketball and onto skateboarding – Gonzales being both a street skateboarder and artist. Indeed, the trainers are decorated in his artwork, as well as featuring Gonzales imagery on the tongue, a signature on the heel and a bright orange sole.

You can pick up a pair at Colette online, priced around £68.

Nono Babuska retro-styled wall art

Babushka

The newly-launched Tangletree Interiors has some weird, wonderful and indeed retro-styled wall art from Nono on its shelves – including this incredibly eye-catching Babuska wall art.

Yes, it's the classic Russian doll, available as seven panels, offering a full set of dolls in increasing sizes across your wall. Obviously it's pitched for a child's wall, but if you have a blank wall anywhere, this is guaranteed to create impact.

On the downside, it's priced rather heftily at £265 – and you'll need to be extra-careful when you fix it to the wall, because there's no going back if you make a mistake.

Richard Sapper 1970s Tizio table lamp for Artemide

Tizio

Yes, it does look like an old executive desk toy, but this is actually a design classic from the 1970s – the Richard Sapper Tizio table lamp.

Designed by Sapper for Artemide in 1972, the aluminium lamp features an adjustable counterbalanced arm and head, the head featuring a halogen bulb powered by a 12v transformer – and the whole thing working without a single electrical cable internally. Clever stuff.

Quirky and cool – the Tizio can be yours again for £219.

For sale: Uncle Monty’s cottage from Withnail and I

Sleddale

An icon of 80s British cinema is available at Auction in February – Uncle Monty's cottage from Withnail and I.

For the uninitiated, Withnail and I is a British cult classic, as two 'resting' actors head out of late 60s London and 'go on holiday by mistake' to Cumbria, specifically at Uncle Monty's country retreat. If you haven't seen the movie, trust me, you really should.

Huge markdowns in the EC Star sale

Ec star sale

We've mentioned EC Star a few times on Retro To Go for their excellent mod influenced style. They tend to be on the more affordable end of retro reproductions, but if you haven't been able to stretch your budget before, their sale prices are well worth a look.

Featuring many of their best designs, the sale has considerable markdowns and tons of style. From the edgier side of mod-influenced clothing, to pieces that can easily pass as genuine sixties, there's an impressive choice. Don't expect the best of these to stick around for long!
