Topshop Liberty printed dress

Libertydress
There are loads of dresses in the shops at the moment, many of them with heavily patterned 70s designs. This Liberty printed dress from Topshop has the same theme, but with a little bit more subtlety.

I think we will all be buying at least on flowered dress this season, but the colour scheme on this one may appeal if you want to stay away from some the primary brights seen on other versions.

It has a spring inspired flower pattern, with bell sleeves and is made in 100% cotton, so it will see you all the way through to the summer. You can get one for £75.

James Bond 60s chaise up for sale

Bond_chaise
Looking for some stylish furniture with a heritage? Well, check out this mid-60s chaise used by James Bond in the movie You Only Live Twice. It’s going up for sale at The Annual King’s Road Antiques Fair at Chelsea Old Town Hall from 15th – 18th March 2007.

Even without the Bond connection, this is a very nice, modernist-inspired piece, made of chrome and leather, with a tan leather cushion. But there is the Bond connection – 007 lands on it when he falls through a stainless steel chute and into Takanas’ office.

If all that has you reaching for the cheque book, make sire you check your account first – it’s up for sale at £15,000.

Inhabit space-age wall tiles

Braille_tiles
Looking to kit your home out like Moonbase Alpha from Space 1999? You need to invest in this Inhabit Braille Wall Flat.

Yes, I said Braille. However, it’s not clear what the wall panels exactly says in Braille. Regardless of that, they are certain to make a big impression on your home. They’re effectively easy-to-install tiles – just peel off the adhesive backing and stick them on your wall. You can change their direction or paint them to make the design more unique – and if you have a not-so-smooth wall, they’re great for hiding all your blemishes too.

The 18-inch x 18-inch tiles are made from 100% bamboo pulp (which is very eco-friendly) and retail for $84 (around £42) for a 10-panel box.
