Paul Thurlby alphabet prints now available as cards

4451_AWESOME-355x502

Cast your mind back towards the end of last year and you may remember Paul Thurlby's great alphabet prints. If you liked those, you'll be pleased to learn they've become even more accessible as they've been made into greetings cards.

As a quick recap, each letter of the alphabet has its own devoted illustration, all depicted in a great retro style. And the price means that for just over £50 you could purchase an entire alphabet – a great idea for a kids room.

Each card costs £2. As it says here, awesome!

Keep Calm and Rock On card by Nancy & Betty

N&B keep calm

Just when you think the slogan has died a death, some new variation on the ubiquitous 'Keep Calm and Carry On' theme pops up. This time it's courtesy of Nancy & Betty, with their Keep Calm and Rock On card.

It replaces the well known crown of the original design with an image of an Eames rocker to illustrate the command. Nancy and Betty clearly must have a thing about Eames rockers if you compare it to their rocking new home card we previously featured. These sell in packs of five, each coming with their own envelope, and cost £6 for a set.

Retro Scandinavian Katt greeting card from Tea and Ceremony

Cat greeting card

Cast your mind back to last month and you may remember the pretend Swedish posters from Takashi Furuya. Well, this Katt greeting card has a similarly retro Scandinavian look, right down to the name, but it's actually made by Manchester company Tea and Ceremony

Take a look at their Etsy store or their own online shop and it's full of equally charming designs: there are similar cards available featuring a hen or a squirrel – or should that be 'hona' and 'ekorre'?

You can buy the design shown as a notebook for $7.50 while the greeting card costs $5.
