Donna Wilson's designs are always eye-catching. But these Fort Trays are probably the most retro design of hers we've featured yet.
We've featured Donna Wilson's whimsical products before but this new Acorn mug is surely the most specifically retro of her designs to date.
The latest combines the classic Lucian R Ercolani design with fabric by Donna Wilson, another name that should be familiar to regular readers. The couch is made from beech with the cushions upholstered in Donna Wilson and SCP's Nos Da fabric, which looks as if it comes from the 1950s too. It is currently on sale priced just over £2,130 (having previously been £2,450).
You can take a closer look at it on the SCP website, although you can’t buy it directly online. Note that SCP also has the retro-styled Donna Wilson Mabel sofa in its sale. You can find out about that here.
We've already seen how Donna Wilson's retro style can transfer onto homewares with her sprig tableware for SCP. There's now more ceramic designs available from her online store, including this Birds Nest plate.
The plate, which is handmade and printed in Stoke on Trent, uses a very 70s image and colour scheme. As with her other pieces – across furniture, textiles and ceramics – it's updated in Wilson's trademark style for the twenty-first century.
This fresh take on a classic motif costs £20.

We've seen the attractive results of Donna Wilson's work for SCP on furniture including the Eadie armchair and the Mabel sofa. Now she's applying her same retro styling to SCP's first china collection: the Sprig tableware range.
The range covers jugs, mugs, cups and saucers, salad bowls and the plate pictured above. Each piece features a variation on the 1950s-esque pattern of leaves and other flora and comes in a choice of three colourways.
Prices range from £12.95 for the mug up to £53 for the salad bowl. The side plate costs £19.50.
