Lacoste is celebrating its 85th anniversary, which seems a rather random one to pick out, but with clothing like the limited edition 1970s Lacoste interlock polo shirt on the shelves, I’m really not complaining. Read more
As part of the company's 80th anniversary celebrations, the 1960s René Lacoste tennis shoes have been reissued.
From out of the swinging sixties comes the Lacoste Rene Espa tennis shoes, reissued as a exclusive Size? reissue.
Available in two colour options (the other is pictured over the page), the shoe is a reworking of the classic 1963 tennis shoe, now with an espadrille outsole with hessian highlights, a canvas panelled upper and Croc branding woven on the side. There's also a branded insole and a contrast striped panel stitched down the heel.
Limited numbers, £54.99 is the asking price.

A new polo shirt with a distinctly vintage twist – the Lacoste Mascotte polo shirt.
Available in red or blue colourways, the 100 per cent cotton shirt has a slim fit, fairly small collar, two button fastening placket, contrast triple tip detailing on the collar and cuffs and a chest pocket with an embossed 'Croc' logo.
The 'side split detailing' doesn't do it any favours, but for something a little different for summer, this is now discounted to a more reasonable £64.99.
A timeless gem from the current Lacoste range – this Lacoste Baseball Bomber Jacket.
Yes, it's a classic 60s-style bomber jacket, the kind of thing Fred Perry tends to knock out on a regular basis. Only this time it's the French crocodile on the front of the lightweight navy jacket, which also has a ribbed jersey collar, cuff and hem, along with contrasting white detailing.
Available in most sizes at Oi Polloi, it sells for £140.
