Graham and Green's Gatsby lamp seems slightly misnamed but nonetheless offers a striking bit of retro style.

66721-T Table Lamp by Kaiser idell
The Kaiser idell lighting range consists of floor, wall and table lamps and pendants, but one we’ve not mentioned here before is the 66721-T Table Lamp, the smallest table lamp in the series.
It was designed by Christian Dell in 1926 and like its bigger siblings is a classic of Bauhaus design – but in miniature. It is made from steel and brass with the patented swivel joint. It stands at 25.5cm tall and is available in black, ivory or white.
Sadly, the price is far from mini, with the lamps priced £332 from Ivor Innes.
Zalo Rise and Fall Pendant
John Lewis has been spoiling us recently with its retro-influenced designs and the Zalo Rise and Fall Pendant is another product in their Retro Reborn collection.
It has a metal shade, which comes in a number of colours (black, white, blue, green, orange or purple) and chrome fittings. It measures 43cm in diameter and has the modern advantage of being dimmable.
It costs a neat £100 from John Lewis,
Arne Jacobsen-style Gordon table lamp from Graham and Green
Graham and Green's website says this Gordon table lamp is inspired by 1940s design, and there's no denying the retro appeal of the design. However, with the distinctive shape of that shade, it reminds me of a much later design – Arne Jacobsen's AJ lamps, which dates to 1960.
The main difference is the stand: the Gordon lamp has been mounted onto a metallic stand and base, which brings more of an industrial look and prevents the lamp from being purely an imitation design.
While a AJ lamp would cost you around £500, this lamp costs £95.
