Puma Originals vintage-style bag range

Puma1

Puma has gone back to basics (and to the past) with its new Puma Originals bag range.

Out of the Puma archive come four designs, the Reporter bag above, with the Portable Bag, Grip Bag and Flight Bag all pictured over the page. All pretty much follow the same formula of a two-way zip, adjustable handle, various pockets and that 'used print' logo (which might not be to everyone's taste.

There's a choice of three colour options for each, the blue we have pictured, plus green and black and black and white options. Available directly from Puma, prices start at £25.

Puma G Vilas 2 trainers reissued in two new colourways

Vilas2

We saw a pair in all-white earlier this year, but now there's a reissue of the Puma G Vilas 2 trainers with some added colour.

We do like the G Vilas 2, a section shoe designed for Argentinian tennis ace Guillermo Vilas in the early 80s, it was instantly a terrace classic and still catches the eye today.

The latest reissue is in white with either green (above) or navy blue detailing, throwing in some G Vilas 2 and Puma branding, a perforated toe and tongue, as well as a leather upper with nubuck toe and rubber outsole. £55 is the price.

1980s Puma Fast Rider running shoe returns as everyday trainer

Fast1

It's not quite the track shoe of days gone by, but the Puma Fast Rider still packs the look in its latest reissue.

First seen in the 1980s as a running shoe with a spike sole, it now has a multi pimpled outsole for extra shock absorption, which means it's still a useful bit of footwear for running and training.

Of course, it now has that retro appeal too, with a suede and nylon mix upper, a sweeping leather Puma formstripe and Fast Rider branding on the side. The colourway above is described as navy/dandelion and if that's a bity bold, see over the page for the navy/silver mix. Both variations are priced at £49.99.
