If you like everything to neatly match, then this is not a product for you.
The Eclectic Cutlery Set is made up of a mismatched selection of knives, forks and spoons, in a range of different styles. The designs include spots, flowers and gingham, with no two being the same to give the overall impression that you’ve collected them individually from markets and second-hand shops.
The sixteen-piece set costs £29.99 from The Contemporary Home.
Iannone Design is a Philadelphia based design/build firm dedicated to the creation of eco-friendly furniture. One of their newest products is this Wooly Media Cabinet.
It has all the right environmental credentials, but what I like about it is its quirky design, a style that would fit with either a midcentury or shabby chic style. It features a flip down front on the left compartment whilst the right side has two drawers. It is available in two lengths: 60 inches or 70 inches, costing $2,195 (£1,350) and $2,400 (£1,480).
2Modern will ship it free within the USA, but also offer worldwide shipping (which may cancel out the eco-friendliness as well as bumping up the price).
Shabby chic can be a difficult look to pull off – particularly if you don't have hours to devote to trawling charity shops and car boot sales for the perfect mis-matched home accessories.
Allow Berry Red to come to your rescue with these pressed glass Jewel Coloured Votives in red, pink and purple. Fill them with wild flowers or create a romantic atmosphere by using them to hold tealights.
There are four different designs and the best thing about them is that they cost from just £2.75 to £3.75 each, so you can afford the whole set!

In these days of digital photography and looking at images on screens and mobile phones, we’ve lost some of the joy of browsing photographs that you would get if your photographs were stored in something like this Vintage Style Wooden Photobox.
The box has four drawers containing plastic wallets, which take 12 photographs each (or 24 if you put them in back to back). The drawers have metal label tabs so that you can label your photographs.
The box costs £15 from shabby chic specialists The Orchard.
Today being St Valentine's Day, it seemed fitting to feature Nina Campbell's Heart Bathroom Accessories.
But we aren't normally given to such romantic sentiments without good reason – more than just featuring shabby chic cute hearts, it is a pattern that dates back to the 1970s, being one of the first designs created by Nina Campbell. The print, in either blue or print, is currently available on a range of bathroom accessories, including soap dispenser, toothbrush holder, soap dish and cotton wool jar.
Prices range from £6.99 to £17.99. View the whole collection on the Nina Campbell website.
More Lisa Stickley, as she continues to spread her style across the British high street. This time it's some products produced for Heal's, and specifically this 50s-style hook rail.
It's a very simple design: bright, raspberry-coloured wooden rail, given a 1950s update through the Eames' Hang-It-All-style knobs. There's something of the old-fashioned school changing room about it too – which may or not be a good thing!
The rail costs £32 and is also available as single hook for £12.
