The Sneaker Colouring Book by Daniel Jarosch and Henrik Klingel

Sneaker

A colouring book for adults – and if you love trainers, you might just love The Sneaker Colouring Book by Daniel Jarosch and Henrik Klingel.

It's a collection of 100 black-and-white line drawings of popular designs, 100 of the most popular designs from 1916 to the present day from 18 major brands. The likes of Adidas, Converse, New Balance, Nike, Onitsuka Tiger, Puma, Reebok and Vans.

All the images are listed with brand, model name, launch date and category details, all are printed on high-quality paper and all are perforated so that a drawing can be removed once completed. Fancy it? Well, the book has just been introduced by Laurence King Publishing and is available via Amazon, discounted to £8.41.

Adidas Baby Beckenbauer – 1970s tracktop for your kids

Beck

Want to turn your little one into a mini homeboy? You simply need to invest in the Adidas Baby Beckenbauer

Yes, this is a one-to-one replica of the classic 70s tracksuit, inspired, as the name suggests, by footballing legend Franz Beckenbauer. So all the detailing, logos and pockets of the original, in a white and red colourway.

It's designed for very small children, so only 3 months or 9 months I'm afraid. If you have a child of that age, the Beckenbauer is yours for £35.

Adidas Spezial trainers get summer reissue

Spez1

Another classic trainer returns for a summer makeover – the Adidas Spezial.

As regular readers (and collectors) will know, the Spezial was originally a handball shoe from the 1970s, but has had a far longer life as a casual wear classic over the last 30+ years. This new issue is in two limited edition colours, with the suede upper, gum sole with perforations for extra comfort and gold 'Spezial' detailing.

Get a pair while you can, £55 is the price. See the other colourway over the page.

Adidas launches A.039 Gazelle OG trainers

Samba1

The online launch of the Adidas Manchester trainers was a b it messy to say the least, so my confidence in Size? isn't what it was – but it does seem to be the only retailer selling these Adidas A.039 Gazelle OG trainers right now.

The A.039 name is apparently derived from an internal code which adidas used for its particular shade of blue and indeed, this Gazelle reissue is offered in blue (pictured over the page) and the green above. The Gazelle is a 'back to basics' original shape, complete with suede and fabric upper, two colours of laces (just in case you get bored of the first colour) plus gold adidas branding on the side.

£54.99 will secure you a pair online.

The sun is out, the sky is blue and our minds turn to summer sports of cricket and of course, tennis, not to mention the clobber associated with it. Like this classic Adidas Originals Ivan Lendl track top.

First released in 1982 as a twist on the Superstar track top and forever associated with the Czech tennis legend, the top has the distinctive Argyle print detailing, the period Adidas branding and a Trefoil zip detail.

Limited numbers as you would expect, available at a price of £69.

eBay watch: Size? exclusive Adidas Manchester limited edition trainers

Adidas_manchester_size

As some of you might recall, the retailer Size? is selling classic, limited edition Adidas Manchester trainers and tracktops for its 10th anniversary, some of which were sold instores over the weekend, the rest being sold online this morning.

If, like me, you were one of the people trying to buy some, you'll probably have found a frustrating and in the end, almost shambolic procedure. Being informed there was no stock at the end of the billing procedure (after previously securing some online), even getting a cancellation email after an order was confirmed. Not good at all.

But where there's demand, there is always supply – and a number of the lucky few have decided to stick their (not very) prized possessions straight onto the eBay website. So if you have money to spare, sellers are already asking anything between £100 and £300 for a pair of the £69.99 trainers. Yes, really. If you want to browse what's currrently there, follow our link to the trainers currently being sold.
