Vagga cradle offers mid-century comfort for your new-born

A modern piece with classic looks - the Vagga cradle by Jonas Lindvall.

Lindvall has gone back to the classic Scandinavian designs of the mid-century era for inspiration, offering  a hand-crafted rocking cradle in sold walnut, using the grain of the wood to create a 'marbled' finish on the exterior.

Apparently that requires much hand planing and bonding of over 120 walnut slats. And those man hours don't come cheap - the Vagga retails for £1,950.
