Not a name I’m familiar with, but Da Terra seem to do a nice line in retro patterned tableware.

There are three design ranges available; s plash which has bright daubs of colour, multi colour which has a more random look and my favourite, the dark blue series which is involves a mismatch of dots, waves, stripes and triangles. There are bowls for cereal, pasta and salad, side and dinner plates, platters and mugs. Each piece is handpainted so no two are identical. Prices start at £13 for mugs, side plates and cereal bowls, going up to £35 for the platters – which seem like pretty reasonable prices for hand finished pieces.
