Etsy is great for finding quirky and retro items, like the Peggy Retro Doll range by Alice Apple, for example.
There are three dolls in the range, all a variation on the same vintage theme, each one with body and hair made from felt, while the accessories are made from Alice Apple's collection of vintage fabrics.
That means each Peggy doll is unique, with her own dress, tote bag, quilted blanket, pillow and pinny apron. The patchwork blanket has been backed with 60s floral fabric and the eyes and mouth have been hand stitched. The finished dolls are 28cm in height, selling for £25 each,
