This chair is the perfect embodiment of Wegner's philosophy that a chair should not have a rear view, that is it should look great from whichever side you look at it. The chair was originally created by the Danish designer back in 1975, although its Scandinavian simplicity gives it a timeless quality.
It is made from oak with 95% wool upholstery – and apparently it is very comfortable too. For just under £1,000, a combination of good looks and comfort.
