1960s-style Newgate Discovery kitchen timer wall clock

Not only a good looking thing, the Newgate Discovery kitchen timer wall clock is available in a stylish range of shades too.

Yes, plenty of colours to choose from for the metal casing, with just a couple shown here. As for the rest of the clock, well, aside from the 1960s looks, it has a 60-minute clockwork timer, a convex glass glass lens over the main clock and a lovely reverse teardrop shape.

An AA battery will keep the main clock ticking over, with the price at £60. You can get some colours via the John Lewis site, with others available from Hurn and Hurn.

Ian Phillip

I hope they've licensed that design, otherwise I suspect Junghans will have their lawyers on the phone pretty quickly.
