One of the strangest designs we have seen for a long time. But that’s not a criticism of the David Bowie umbrella range by Kayci Wheatley.
These are handmade umbrellas with a choice of four design, all with one thing in common. Yes, David Bowie. Not just David Bowie, his 1973 Aladdin Sane persona too.
Each one is made from a 100% polyester pongee waterproof fabric with the image printed using a ‘heat sublimation technique’ to prevent discolouring. There are also eight ribs made from a strong fibre for extra support.
The finished umbrella opens to a 41-inch span, collapsing to a height of 9 inches. Each retails for £29.96 and ships worldwide from the US.
