This is so cool. In fact, I can imagine this Korgis record cabinet and bookshelf by Mitz Takahashi taking pride of place in our living room.

It’s a walnut and brass unit, with walnut making up the body of the unit, wile brass comes in for the plated satin brass legs and the inset solid brass drawer handles.

Of course, the look is only half of the appeal. The other half is the functionality of a unit that offers record storage courtesy of those huge drawers and presumably more above if you don’t want to use it as a bookcase or display shelf.

According to the maker, it is customisable and different layouts are also available. What we don’t know is the cost. But judging by the materials and the substance of this unit, we suspect it doesn’t come cheap.

If you want a price or simply just want to know more, you can get in touch with the maker via the Mitz Takahashi website.
