We featured the first pieces earlier this year, which proved incredibly popular. So we are pleased to see a new collection of Lucienne Day-designed cushions land at John Lewis.

There are four new cushion designs to enjoy, all of which have their own appeal. First off is the Lucienne Day Calyx Cushion, featuring a design first launched at the Festival of Britain in 1951. Secondly there is the Magnetic design, dating back to 1957 and originally produced as a curtain design for her own home.

The third design is Lucienne Day’s 1952 Flotilla, designed as a smaller-scale follow-up to Calyx and the fourth is the abstract pattern Graphica, designed in 1953.

All have a feather pad filling and all are available now, priced between £45 and £50.
