In terms of detail, they’ve got that. Based around the Unknown Pleasures album (which essentially means a Peter Saville design), the sole uses the same artwork as the album cover, as does the tongue, with the back of the shoe featuring the original catalogue number – FACT 10.
But even if you buy into the concept of a Joy Division trainer, I’m sure they could have done something more stylish. Have you seen an uglier shape of shoe?
