It isn’t the first time we’ve featured a George Nelson-designed clock, but we love them so much, we make no apologies for throwing in another – in this case, the Vitra Ball Clock.

Amazingly, Nelson designed this in 1948 and it’s still in production by Vitra today, in a choice of bright colours. It’s made of lacquered wood and metal, with a high-grade quartz clockwork, all powered by a single battery (included) and featuring the Vitra badge (in case no-one believes it’s authentic.

You can pick one up online for around £160.
