Victor Vasarely print auction at Christies

Vasarely Fancy some op art for your living room wall? Well, you’re in luck – Christies in London is hosting the Victor Vasarely: Prints & Multiples sale on July 19th.

It is what it says – an auction of prints from all eras, including the expected black and white images, along with the more space age 3D art. But amongst all of that, I think I prefer some of his less obvious work, like this Zaphir
screenprint on wove paper, signed in pencil by the author and numbered FV 5/20. It does have very slight damage, but at £500 – £700, isn’t a bad buy at all for the budding art collector.

The auction takes place at the South Kensington auction room, with a 2pm start.
