Polka dots can sometimes get tired as the go-to print for vintage inspired clothing design, but when a spot pattern is one well it's hard to beat. This Coin Spot Belt Dress from Oli falls on the good side of spots, for us, providing a head turner of a dress.
The use of coin sized spots makes this dress stand out from the many polka dotted versions. It's fun and cutesy, but also manages to avoid looking awfully Minnie Mouse. This is thanks to the interesting dress shaping. Avoiding the obvious circle skirted fifties frock, this goes for edgy necklines and great structure to provide a slinky look.
