Ignore the unappealing sounding name for the Chocolate Splat Clock is a rather attractive piece with more than a little retro style.
It is made from Kona Blend pattern laminate on MDF, which is a rich dark colour, rather similar to the retro favourite Walnut. The “splat” part of the clock is a cut out pattern backed with white MDF for contrast. The clock hands are available in a choice of aluminium or painted in either blue, green, red, orange or yellow.
The clock costs $45 (around £30) and happily is available for shipping worldwide. Buy online from Pilot Design’s Etsy shop.
