Just last week we featured the Minimoderns festival rug, now here's another object inspired by the same event – this silk Festival of Britain from RE.
It's the 60th anniversary of the Festival of Britain which is being celebrated this year. This design is inspired by a vintage silk scarf and shows a suitably jubliant city scene. The scarf is backed with a contrasting silk fabric to complete the vintage feel.
