Image003 Both the London Transport Museum and upholsterer Squint Limited have featured in these pages before. Now they have come together to collaborate on a range of bespoke modern furniture that draws on the rich design heritage of the museum's collection.

Squint create traditional furniture upholstered in a patchwork of modern and vintage fabrics. Their couture craftsmanship will showcase the London Transport Museum's fabrics through using some of the iconic moquette patterns familar to anyone who travels by bus or tube in London.

The collection will be unveiled during the London Design Festival at Tent London where visitors to the stand will have the chance to win themselves a unique Moquette Chair.

The rest of the collection will be available from the London Transport Museum's website from the end of September with key pieces available in the Covent Garden shop.
