Often when the high street attempts to interpret the more psychedelic vein of sixties fashion, the result can be an overblown and cartoonish image. With a more Autumnal colour palette and some simplistic styling, however, Matalan have managed to create a more chic image in this Heraldic Print Shift Dress.
The shift shape is the ideal basic to carry a bold print, with a loose fitting shape and high neck offsetting the short hemline. The print has a real sixties feel, with the use of mustard, cream and brown shades in keeping with a great vintage feel.
