If you want some retro tableware, but fancy a change from Cath Kidston, then Ochre and Ocre’s Isabella Placemat and Coasters are worth checking out.
The Isabella print is a decidedly 50s looking pattern, available in blue or red and printed on coasters. Sold in sets of 4, with a hardwearing Melamine finish with a cork back, they can withstand heats up to 140c. The same items are also available in a polka dot pattern in sage green or ochre called Madelaine – the prints being named after the designer’s two daughters.
The placemats cost £35 per set and the coasters £12 from Ochre and Ocre.
