It's got a slightly baffling name, but the Kadinksky sofa, available from Debenhams, is big on retro style.
The sofa reflects the trend for mid-century furniture that's currently influencing the high street and has been given the shape of a 1950s piece, with neatly curved arm and an oak plinth for the legs. In fact it's just one part of a Kadinksky range, which also includes a similarly retro styled fabric foot stool and chair. Slightly disappointing are the limited colour options available: you need to chose from the biscuit-like version pictured, or a pistachio green leather number.
The sofa costs £1079 or £1279 in the leather finish.
