Another lovely old player up for auction, specifically this 1960s fully-serviced Dansette Tempo record player.
Fully-serviced by Electroboogie that is, which has been done without losing the character of the original '60s player, which is still in its original green finish, with mottled speaker panel, original Dansette on/off volume and tone control knobs, black Dansette logo, and red power indicator which lights up when the player is on.
Also here is the all-important valve amplifier for that distinctive sound, along with a four-speed Garrard deck and a mass of replaced or refurbished parts – the turntable, motor and all mechanisms have all been fully serviced, oiled and adjusted for correct operation. There's also a new stylus here too.
The casing has some 'signs of wear' but ''for it's age its in great shape'. Just one small mark on the lid, which doesn't detract from the look. Fancy it? The asking price right now is £36.
